Our Mission
Make small-dollar borrowing legible: one request, multiple licensed lenders, every cost disclosed before a signature, and honest education that sometimes concludes you should not borrow at all.
The mission has a second half most lending sites skip: informed borrowers repay better, and a matching service profits only when loans complete. That alignment is why this site publishes a working calculator, a 44-term glossary, an honest eligibility checklist, and guides that regularly recommend waiting, saving, or calling a biller instead of borrowing. We do better when you decide well — so the education is the business model, not a decoration on it.
What Cashera Is — and Is Not
Cashera is a free loan connection service. We are not a lender: we do not make credit decisions, fund loans, set rates, or service payments. Every offer names its actual lender, and your agreement is directly with that licensed company.
The distinction shapes everything on this site. Because we do not lend, we have no rate to defend — the rates page can explain APR honestly, top of the range included. Because lenders compensate the network for introductions (the full model is on our Advertiser Disclosure), borrowers pay nothing to ask, and a declined offer costs you exactly zero. And because the Cashera Capital network's lenders are licensed state by state, your request only reaches companies legally able to serve you — geography applied automatically, as it should be.
How We Work, In Four Sentences
You complete one form in about five minutes. A soft credit inquiry — no score impact — lets network lenders evaluate the request. Interested lenders respond with offers stating APR, fees, payment, and total repayment. You compare, accept one or none, and funds from an accepted offer typically arrive the next business day.
The unabridged version, with timing at every step, lives on How It Works. The philosophy behind the brevity: a process that needs a long explanation is usually hiding something in the middle of it. Ours fits in four sentences because there is nothing to hide — the complexity in lending belongs in your decision, not in our machinery.
The Principles We Publish and Keep
Soft inquiry first, always. Every cost disclosed before signing. No borrower fees, ever. Critical reviews published alongside praise. Education that includes the case against borrowing. And no account system — your data serves your request, not a marketing database.
Principles are cheap to write and expensive to keep, so this site builds each one into something checkable: the review page publishes the one-star feedback and the complaints we acted on; the bad credit guide contains a section a marketing department would delete; the FAQ answers the awkward questions — what happens if you stop paying, why offers sometimes do not come — in plain sentences. Read any page on this site with one test in mind: does it still make sense if the reader decides not to borrow? Every page here passes, because that is the only kind of lending content worth trusting.
Reach Us
Questions about the service belong with us: [email protected] or (888) 887-1187. Questions about a specific offer or an active loan belong with your lender, who owns those answers. The contact page maps which questions go where — asking the right party first is the fastest route to an authoritative answer.
