The Compensation Model
Cashera is a free connection service compensated by participating lenders when introductions occur. This compensation may influence which lenders participate in the network and, in some cases, how offers are presented. It never adds cost to your loan: your APR, fees, and terms are set solely by the lender under its own licensing.
The model in one sentence: lenders pay for access to prepared borrowers, which is why prepared borrowers pay nothing. Compensation does not purchase approvals, does not alter any lender's underwriting, and cannot make an expensive offer cheap — the disclosure documents on every offer state the real numbers regardless of any commercial relationship behind the introduction.
What Compensation Does Not Change
Not your price: lender terms are set by the lender. Not our education: the guides on this site recommend waiting, saving, or not borrowing wherever that is the honest answer. Not the reviews: critical feedback publishes alongside praise, in proportion.
The test we invite: read the when-not-to-borrow section, the one-star reviews, or the save-and-shrink path — content that costs conversions and stays published anyway, because informed borrowers completing loans is the only version of this business that works long-term.
Not All Lenders, Not All Products
The Cashera Capital network does not include every lender in the market, and offers you receive reflect network participation plus your state and profile — not a survey of the entire industry. Comparing any offer against outside options, including local banks and credit unions, is always legitimate and sometimes wins.
One of our published reviews says a credit union beat our network's offer for that borrower, and we kept it published because the advice is correct: the network's job is reach and disclosure, not a guarantee of the market's single best price. The Compare Lenders page exists in the same spirit — orientation to the wider market, no participation required.
